Hey there, I'm James.

I'm a unique combination of creative and logical, with a splash of hiker trash. Balancing the creative process of dreaming with the reality of project management is my vibe, as well as something I genuinely find joy in.

​

My background is in communications, marketing, and design where I worked as a production manager for many years before falling in love with long-distance backpacking on the Appalachian Trail. I've since focused my efforts and experience around combining those two worlds.

 

I've served in the roles of logistics coordinator, programs and marketing manager, backcountry trips manager, operations director, and as a wilderness instructor/guide for the past 8 years. I work to support others by developing systems that not only function well, but are visually and structurally sound.
